Be The Reason Someone Smiles This Holiday Season

This holiday season, Turning Leaf is asking for your help, so we can give something nice to those in need. Too many of our participants who experience mental illness or intellectual challenge walk our winter streets not properly clothed and without a nutritious meal.

On Wednesday, December 20th, we will be serving all our participants our annual Christmas Lunch, and we need your help to make this day special for them.

If a monetary donation isn’t possible, there are other ways you can contribute. Contact Leanne Peters, Director of Community Relations — 204.510.7892 and ask how you can give this holiday season!

For the lunch, we ask for a few items:

  • Turkeys
  • Perogies
  • Boxes of stuffing
  • Frozen mixed vegetables
  • Paper plates
  • Cups
  • Cutlery

Let this year be different. Be the reason someone smiles and donate today. With your generous donation, we can help clothe our participants with mitts, boots, and properly insulated jackets; we can give 300 people a hardy, traditional Christmas meal.
