Volunteer With Us

Volunteering can be the most fulfilling work you will ever do! Volunteering is also a gateway to the workforce by testing career options of your desired path and having the opportunity to use a diverse range of skills. Volunteer work allows you to express your values, increase your self-esteem, gain a sense of accomplishment, build relationships, and give back to your community.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

Joining the Turning Leaf Compassion Crew team of volunteers means you will become a part of the Turning Leaf family. The opportunity will positively impact your life knowing you’re helping enrich the lives of the vulnerable population we support while being an integral part of our team and helping us achieve our goals and promote our values.

As a new member of the Turning Leaf Compassion Crew team of volunteers, you will be welcomed with excitement to join in our mission – to share hope, make connections and support change! All individual volunteers will be required to attend an orientation session prior to working. Volunteers will learn about the agency and volunteer program including scheduling, familiarity with any technology (i.e. Volgistics database), equipment familiarization etc. Volunteers will be requested to provide and fill out required paperwork for their role at this time. Volunteers will be assigned to tasks that match with their interests. Their orientation on their first day will speak to task descriptions and work expectations. The volunteer will be linked with a direct report and have an opportunity to discuss their volunteer schedule.
